1. Honkeiko Colliery China

China experienced the worst disaster occurred in Honkeiko (or Benxihu)
Colliery on 26th April, 1942, as the entrance of the mine collapsed
due to a coal dust explosion. Several workers were trapped inside, and
approximately 1,549 had died.

2. Courrieres France

A large dust explosion annihilated the mine on March 10, 1906 and
1,099 miners including children died in the worst pit disaster in
Europe.

3. Kyushu Japan

A fatal gas explosion occurred in the Mitsubishi Hojyo coal mine in
Kyushu, Japan on December 15, 1914 and 687 miners lost their lives. It
was the most horrible mining catastrophe in Japan.

4. Senghenydd Wales

In Welsh mining the nasty disaster occurred on October 14, 1913 when
438 men and boys were killed after an explosion of methane gas that

1. Burj Khalifa (Dubai)

United Arab Emirates owns a skyscraper in Dubai, known as Burj Khalifa and is the tallest construction of 828 m (2,717 ft). The edifice began on 21st Sept., 2004, accomplished on 1st Oct., 2009 and was publicly shown on 4th January 2010. The total cost of Burj Khalifa venture was about US$1.5 billion. Its structural plan was made by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill of Chicago. Adrian Smith was the chief builder, and Bill Baker was the chief structural engineer. The chief contractor was Samsung C&T of South Korea.

2. Taipei 101 (Taipei)

Also known as Taipei Financial Center, it is located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. It was the 2nd tallest building in the world on July 21, 2007, when the Burj Khalifa exceeded from it on the 4th of January 2010. It has 101 storeys above ground and five storeys underground. Its height from ground is 509.2 meters (1,671 ft).

3. Shanghai World Financial Center China

It is located at 100 Century Avenue, Pudong, Shanghai, China. It was opened on 28 August 2008 with height of 492.0 meters (1,614.2 ft).
